Don't go there, please.  Take the A-arm/s to someone who has a mig
welder.  Ask him to weld  nuts onto what's left of your broken 8mm
fasteners, even if it's below the surface. Weld into the nut's threaded
hole - it heats the fastener-remainder enough to break the rust - then
use an impact wrench to back it out.  It works.
