Soak a towel or similar in vinegar and leave it on the glass for as long as  
you can.  Reapply some more and rub the glass.  Rinse the glass with a  lot of 
water and finish with your favourite glass cleaner.
 
If this does not work, there are more extreme measures but see how you get  
on with the vinegar.  BTW, vinegar and soda makes a very good cleaner for  
glass (and house sink drain pipes)
