BE VERY CAREFUL - there are at least two Bon Ami products, only one of 
which is safe to use on glass !!  I have a very old (at least 7 or 8 years) 
package called "The original BON AMI Cleaning Powder" On the back it says 
"The Original  For windows, for kitchen sinks, for bathtubs" again, this 
package is old and may have been superceded - READ THE INSTRUCTIONS.

I suggest a visit to their web site before you use any of their
