RE: [alfa] Mild Mods and California

I think Sperry sells hot cams that will pass smog. The ones I bough last year from them are not smogable but my car is a 71 so I don't have to worry about passing smog. Love my cams. Just checked the valve clearance last month and I didn't have to make any adjuestments. No wear!. I'm running Mobil 1 so I guess that helps.

Hey folks...

So, I have reason to be taking off my cylinder head on my Spider, so I was thinking of having some fun while I was in there. But I also live in California and the car still needs to be smoggable. So, my question what all can I do while I'm in there and still pass smog in two years? This is also my daily driver, but I'm used to driving hopped up vehicles, and I rarely sit in traffic. I was thinking 11mm cams (some say they pass smog, others say they don't) and big valves/springs, but I'd love to hear opinions and btdt.

Thanks in advance
