Could definately be a fuel pressure problem. Once you're able to 
eliminate the filters and the pump as the culprit you may find that you 
need a restrictor in the output line from the Spica pump. Some of the 
newer replacement fuel pumps require a amller in the restrictor size. 
About 3/32" IIRC. The high temperature doesn't help the fuel pressure 
either but its a separate problem. After eliminating the thermostat and 
the water pump take a hard look at the radiator. It may look fine on the 
outside but could be clogged on the inside.
