[alfa] water water everywhere

well, not really, but this morning when i went out to start loading
the trunk of the milano with items for the sand lake town dump,
i found 2" of water in the driver's footwell.

it was dripping at a fairly steady rate from behind the fusebox.
i bailed out the footwell and took out the floor mat to dry. i briefly
looked at the base of the driver's side of the windshield and
observed that the rubber underneath the plastic cowl piece
is lifted up in places and when i pull up on the plastic, the
rubber lifts as well. it doesn't seem to do this on the passenger
side. but i don't know if this is actually a problem. can anyone
make any suggestions on where to look?

i also should note that the water stopped dripping after i fooled
with this, and was still not dripping when i parked the car after
running errands. i'll be going back out to check on it shortly.
