[alfa] Alfa GT Junior Repair Update

For those who were curious on the solution to my engine misfiring, a trip to my local Alfa expert and a hefty check seems to have cured the problem although I am still slightly skeptical.

Brief Summary:
After a 1100 mile trip from Vancouver, engine was misfiring and eventually died just inside San Francisco. Would be restart after it died at the stop light.

When the engine is cool, it starts up. But after driving a block it dies once again.

Repairs:
I searched for clogged fuel filters and what I found was that there isn't a gas tank in-line fuel filter. The glass fuel filter in the engine compartment was rerouted and small in-line fuel filter was in place instead. I checked for fuel flow and it looked fine.

Inspected the ignition coil wire and found the end to the distributor was bad. I replaced all the spark plug wires and put in new plugs(NGK BP7ES) gapped at 0.025

Thought this would do the trip, but nope. Same condition.

My mechanic inspected the tank and there was no rust inside. Tank looked newer. One of the fuel hoses was bigger than normal to the fuel pump. He fixed that and restored the glass fuel filter. We inspected everything else: timing, cams, valve clearance, distributor, points, condensor. Nothing else was replaced.

So now it appears to working fine. Why after warmed up before, the engine died is still puzzling to me what we did was the cure.
