[alfa] Re: XK140 tops (NAC)
Really?? I thought Drophead Coupe ("DHC") was just their term for
the convertible version, of which there was only (per model).

To be fair to Jaguar, they did make an XK140 (and 120 and 150) drop head
coupe for people who wanted a convertible with a properly engineered top.
The roadster was for the hard-core of open air enthusiasts -- give me style
and damn the practicalities. The drop-head coupe was built to suit those who
wanted a little more versatility in their vehicle -- though it lost some of
the purity of line.
