black on red IH logo
IH all,
For about 3 years, I've had these IH license plate fillers,
since a front plate isn't required here in Arizona. I got them at
various auto shows, and they are the factory IH logo I-on-H with
the rallye angle stripe like on the front of ScoutII. Anyway, the
background is white, the stripes are blue, and the I-on-H is red
(I) and blue (H). I like the scheme so much that I painted the
logos on my T'all. 'IH's blue and red, and 'Travelall' and
'International',all blue.
Let me tell you, these look GOOOOOOD! They offset the colors on
the truck, and stand out since the blue isn't a regular color.
Might I suggest we make the stickers red-on-blue IH, since they
stand out more? Sure cost is a factor, but with vinyl stickers,
I'm not sure the colors are difficult, like they are on a laser
printer.
I don't have pictures or anything but, I can make some
powerpoint files/autocad/paint/canvas/adobe, etc. if we want to
see how they look. I personally would go for about 50 stickers, if
we get them, what? prolly $2 apiece? I'll have them on everything
from trucks to toolboxes. I have alot of toolboxes.
Hope it works out on this one, I like the sticker idea. I was
on a list for vintage italian motorscooters, and we had patches
made up. No they weren't the real nice embroidered ones, they were
silkscreen on cloth, but still, it was cool to have them,
especially when you start seeing them around. I'm sure we'll start
seeing them everywhere if we get the stickers made.
Looking forward,
-Joel Brodsky
