Re: [alfa] Twin Spark conversion for Alfetta

My understanding is that the reason for this warning, is the
distributor on the Alfetta, 105 series and Alfa 75 1.8
(8-valve) is mounted from the side of the engine in the
usual way.

However, with the 75 twin spark engine, there is one on the
side and one driven off one end of the camshaft which can be
made to fit under the bonnet (hood?) of a 105 series car.
There is also an option to fit a modfied Nissan twin plug
distributor (or similar) to fire all 8 plugs, so that it is
possible to remove and blank off the camshaft driven
distributor altogether.

With the 164 twin spark engine, there is one distributor at
each end of the camshaft. Do you have room for these? Or
will you be fitting a distributorless mapped ignition
system?
