A salvage title may also affect your ability to get
insurance.  My '81 Spider has a salvage title.  I was
naive when I bought it( no regrets, the car is 100%
restored and a real beauty, just wish I had known the
difference ).  I am sure every insurance company is
different, but with my company, USAA, I have had to
submit photographs and documentation of restoration
for review by an underwriter before they will extend
more that liability coverage.
